The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: When I left Penn State in 1999, I began my teaching career at the university where I obtained my undergraduate degree--Norfolk State University (a Historically Black College and University--HBCU) in Virginia where I worked as a tenured professor of English for 9 years. My transfer to Johnson C. Smith University--a private HBCU in Charlotte, North Carolina has been quite rewarding; so, I have enjoyed more than abundant blessings from obtaining my Ph.D. at Penn State. Currently, my lofty ambition is to complete and publish my first fictional novel by the end of 2009. |
